Terms and conditions

Medical Garments & Hygiene Products – No Returns Policy

For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, post-operative garments and medical products cannot be returned or exchanged once supplied or opened, unless the item is confirmed to be faulty.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Post-operative compression garments
  • Surgical recovery garments
  • Post-surgical bras
  • Medical garments supplied for recovery
  • Any hygiene-sensitive or medical recovery products

Patients are advised to carefully confirm size, fit, and product selection prior to purchase. Our clinical team will provide guidance to ensure the most appropriate garment is selected for your procedure and recovery.

Where an item is confirmed to be incorrectly supplied, the clinic will arrange a replacement where appropriate.

Appointment Policy

Did Not Attend (DNA) Policy

Appointments require reserved clinical time.

If a patient fails to attend a scheduled appointment without notice, a £25 non-refundable DNA fee will apply.

This policy ensures fairness to other patients awaiting appointments and protects reserved clinical time.

Surgery Cancellation Policy

If surgery is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled procedure, a £500 non-refundable cancellation fee will be charged.

This fee reflects costs associated with:

  • Reserved operating theatre time
  • Surgical team scheduling
  • Anaesthetic planning
  • Cancellation of other clinical commitments

Patients are encouraged to notify the clinic as early as possible if they need to reschedule their procedure.

Post-Operative Care Policy

Following surgery, patients will receive a structured aftercare programme designed to support a safe recovery and optimal surgical outcomes.

12-Month Aftercare Coverage

Patients receive a structured aftercare package for up to 12 months following surgery, including access to clinical advice and post-operative reviews where appropriate.

Patients will also be provided with 24-hour emergency contact numbers for the clinical nursing team in the event of urgent concerns.

Medication Provision

Immediately necessary post-operative medications may be provided, including:

  • Pain relief
  • Antibiotics (where clinically indicated)

Some medications that fall outside standard hospital formularies may require private prescriptions issued by the treating doctor.

Specialist Aftercare

Post-operative care is delivered by:

  • Trained surgical nurses
  • Experienced healthcare professionals
  • GMC-registered surgeons

This ensures patients receive expert guidance throughout the recovery process.

Follow-Up Appointments

Attendance at scheduled follow-up appointments is an essential part of post-operative care.

These appointments allow clinicians to monitor healing, provide wound care, and ensure recovery is progressing safely.

Failure to attend scheduled follow-up appointments may affect eligibility for extended aftercare support or warranties where applicable.

Safety & Infection Prevention

Patients are advised to take precautions following surgery to reduce the risk of infection and complications.

This may include:

  • Limiting social contact for 7–14 days following surgery
  • Avoiding strenuous physical activity
  • Following all wound care instructions provided by the clinical team

Individual guidance will vary depending on the procedure performed.

Compression Garments

Certain procedures require specialist post-operative compression garments.

These garments help:

  • Reduce swelling
  • Support healing tissues
  • Improve comfort
  • Maintain surgical results

Patients must wear the recommended garments for the specified duration advised by their specialist.

Patient Care Support

Patients will have access to our secretary/nursing team who will assist with:

  • Appointment scheduling
  • Recovery guidance
  • Communication with the clinical team
  • Ongoing support throughout the recovery process
